Somewhere Along In the Bitterness September 12th 2019

She hurried along. She was late for class and she'd probably end up getting detention. Even though Professor Longbottom hated giving it to them he knew he had too. Otherwise the other students wouldn't respect him. Hopefully James or Teddy could talk Longbottom out of giving her dentention because they tended to be good at it. Not that she wasn't bad at it. But James always got Professor Longbottom to do things for him because he looked so much like his dad, Harry Potter.

Scorpius was walking in the hall toward the school grounds. He had his free period and he was not about to waste it on potions homework. The weather was great outside. He was almost to the stairs as he saw a Lacey, “Hey, mudblood, late for class again? Tell professor Longbottom you were snogging one of the Potters. Seeing as he likes them so much you would probably gain some points for your house. Or maybe you could snog him as well”

She rolled her eyes. "Why should I tell him slytherin crap? When I could just tell him the truth. Besides calling me mudblood isn't an insult." She retorted annoyed. She fingered her wand in her pocket.

Oh, is it a complement now days? *he smirked*

"I don't flipping care what you call me Malfoy. You're just a lousy old ferret and whatever you say can't hurt my bloody feelings." She said glaring ready to hex him if necessary.

Fine, let's snog then and then you can tell professor Longbottom the truth about how you first snogged Potters and then me. *he was smirking*

She looked at him horrified. "Ew no. And I did not snog James." She added frustrated.

In said Potters, not James *he tilted an eyebrow* So you did snog Albus then *smirk never left his face*

"Of course I just love snogging boys three years younger than me." She said dryly rolling her eyes.

I knew it *he licked his lips* Weren’t you going somewhere? *tilted an eyebrow* That might be a little too late though. You only have 15 minutes for your class left. I am SO sorry for delaying you. Such a shame for you to end up in detention for skipping Longottom’s class. *mockery in his voice*

She glared at him. "Well thank you so much for making me miss the class." She started to walk away.

You are very welcome, it was my pleasure actually. Not only did I insult you multiple times but I got you in trouble for it as well. My day is complete. Besides, it is not like you have missed a lot. Although, in my class he almost got eaten by one of those weird Venus Fly Trap plants. Longbottom has been its big “fly” today. Quit entertaining I must admit… *no respect for a teacher what so ever*

She held back a laugh. She looked at him as siriously as she could possiblely force herself to be. "Well that's too bad. Maybe my class was cancelled because of that." She smirked.

I quit doubt it. Longbottom would miss his class for a world. One time he was dragged poison ivy and stunned until he was out of it, lost his conscious. Everyone thought he would take the rest of the day off, but no, he was back, next period for teaching. Longbottom doesn’t have a life. I think he secretly makes out with them at night *he was smiling now, for the reasons he knew nothing off*

She tried even harder not to laugh but this time the corner of her mouth twitched. "Well he is married." She managed to say before having a "coughing" fit.

*rolled his eyes* Plants have always been his first love. He even told that to us in class. Anyways, it almost lunch time, wanna tangle along?

"Why would you want a mublood to sit with you?" She asked warily.

I am bored and I want to eat some food. I am merely bringing the entertainment with me to the table. All I want is share *fake puppy eyes*

She snickered. "So you can hex me right? Lame puppy eyes I can do way better ones. "

Hex you? In the middle of Great Hall? I am sorry to disappoint you but we are not Gryffindors. I would prefer to do it without witnesses *he looked around trying to state the obvious* Like now for example, but I haven’t hexed you yet, haven’t I?

"Alright..Alright I'll come but isn't a bit weird for a Gryffindor mudblood and pureblood slytherin to eat lunch together? Our houses will kill us." She pointed out. "If you really want to eat lunch with me then we can go to the kitchens get food there and find a place to eat it. "

Correction, my house mates wouldn’t kill you. Yours on the other hand *trailed of, smirking* I know that you can’t resist my charm, but can you be a little less obvious? *they were already in front of the painting that would lead them to the kitchen* Now, how in the world would we get in there?

She raised her eyebrows at his comment before staring at him in disbelief. "You don't know how to get in? Come on don't tell me you haven't snuck out past curfew to the kitchens before."

We don’t just snick in *rolled his eyes* You know nothing of purebloods, don’t you? When we go to school we bring our house elves with us, they work in the kitchens and whenever we want something we just call for them *looked proud*

"You uneducated roaming about after dark in hogwarts person." She smirked opening the portrait before dragging him inside. "You can order house elves creep me out."
