"Ooh, I'm shaking in my shoes," James said sardonically.

"Oh good." She grinned. Lacey smooshed some mud into his hair and his face.

James barely closed his eyes in time. He felt the mud slide down his face and he knew it got all over his clothes. He was most upset when he felt Lacey put it in his hair. His hair was like his prodigy. He loved his hair. He wiped the mud away from his eyes and looked at Lacey. "Now you're definitely dead."

"Really? I thought I was going to kill you." She smiled innocently at him really hoping he wouldn't go out with his threat.

James smirked evilly. He felt the mud dripping down his back, out of his hair which was a good thing, and he felt it still dripping off his face. "Well, then, it's a fight to the death," James said. "You better run," he warned.

James cocked an eyebrow. "Then I guess I can just easily do this," he said. He grabbed her wand and aimed it at the ground, hoping it'd stay there for as long as he needed it to. Then he lowered his lips to hers and kissed her lightly.

Lacey was rather surprised and happy at the same time. She kissed him back and pulled away. “I wasn’t going to hex you. I was just going to get the mud out of your hair.” She smirked at him.

"Mmhmm, right," James said somewhat sardonically. Inside, he was jumping for joy! She didn't push him away!

"Well do you want me to hex you instead?" She asked smiling evilly. " Cause I will."

"No, no," James said, putting his hands up. "I'm quite fine. Though I think I might willingly jump into the lake to get hte mud out of my hair..."

She giggled. "Now why would you want to get wet all over again if just a simple spell can fix it?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Er... because I didn't think of that," James admitted. "Even though you had just said it a minute ago," he added thoughtfully.

She laughed " Fair enough. So are you getting the mud out or do I need to?"

"I've got it," James said, chuckling. He pulled out his own wand and got the mud out of his hair. "Ah, that's better."
