After rushing out of the Gryffindor common room, James had gone to the Great Hall. He knew that Teddy wouldn't follow him -- Teddy was too wrapped up in his crap that he didn't care if he may have lost a friend.

James angrily put food on his plate and started eating. He was very upset and hurt.

Teddy, after thinking for about twenty minutes, had left the boys' dormitory to find James. Teddy had no idea where to look first, so he just planned on starting in the Great Hall. He entered and looked around while heading toward the Gryffindor Table. He saw James angrily stabbing his food. He sighed and walked up behind him and said, "Don't take it out on the food. It did absolutely nothing."

James didn't even have to turn around, he knew who it was. "Don't even, Teddy Lupin," he said angrily. "We're done. I've had it. Whatever you want to do here, just don't even try because it won't work."

"James, I didn't mean to do anything to hurt you. I'm sorry," TEddy siad, sitting next to his friend.

"Save it, Teddy. I'm done," he repeated. He deliberately turned his head the other way the better to ignore Teddy LUpin.

Teddy wanted to shake James and make him snap out of it, but he had a feeling that this was nothing he could snap James out of. "James, I'm going through a lot right now... I didn't mean to piss you off."

"It's not just that, Teddy!" James yelled. "You didn't just piss me off! You really pissed me off for one thing. And for the next, you've pushed me away one too many times. I'm done dealing with your mopey arse!"

"James," Teddy pleaded. He realized that most eyes were on them after James' yelling. "James," he repeated quietly, "I didn't mean to do any of that."

"I don't bloody care! You still did it nonetheless!" James shouted.

"James," Teddy repeated. He was lost for words; he had never seen his friend so angry before.

James glared at Teddy. "If you don't mind, leave me alone," he said.

"Well, I do mind," Teddy spat. "I'm not leaving you alone until I understand everything I supposedly did to you."

"You've shunned me too many times, Teddy LUpin. ANd you've treated me like dirt -- not the way a friend should be treated."

"James, I don't recall shunning you," Teddy said.

"You always shun me. When you're with Victoire," James spat.
